Mark Perry, O.D. Dr. Mark Perry received his Bacholor Of Arts Degree in Biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa. He completed his Doctor of Optometry degree at The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee, where he graduated with academic honors as Magna Cum Laude. He participated in Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Alpha Optometric Fraternity. He completed his internship in clinical pathology at St. Lukes Eye Clinic in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
Dr. Mark Perry received the prestigious Ivan M. Borish Award and was designated the Optometrist Elite Award by his colleagues. Dr. Mark Perry has authored the Clinical Guide to Anterior and Posterior Segment Pathology, lectured within the optometric profession and participated in FDA contact lens clinical investigations. He currently serves as an examiner for the Florida Board of Optometry and continues to provide leadership on many levels within the profession.
Dr. Mark Perry is an active member of the American Optometric Society (AOS), Southern Council of Optometrists (SCO) and the Florida Optometric Association (FOA). He has served as chair for the Membership Services and Convention Planning committees. Dr. Mark Perry is remains active in the FOA leadership, as the chair of the Commercial Tenant Committee.
As the Past-President of the Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians (CFSOP), Dr. Mark Perry officiates the CFSOP the annual educational program for hundreds of his colleagues. Dr. Mark Perry volunteers vision care services for the Jeppeson Foundation and other non-profit sight saving organizations.
Dr. Perry has practiced in Orlando since 1989 and administrates additional primary care clinical practices in Orlando, Florida. He is the Administrator for Vision Source in the central Florida market.
As a board certified optometric physician, Dr. Mark Perry specializes in complex medical procedures and contact lens fitting for patients with Keratoconus, astigmatism, bifocals, children and patients with other debilitating eye disease. He is medical director of the Orlando Laser Vision center and provides pre-operative and post-operative refractive surgery care. |

Karen Perry, O.D. Dr. Karen Perry received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, where she was a member in Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the Phi Kappa Alpha Optometric Fraternity. She completed her internships in Clinical Pathology at Omni Eye Center in Delaware and Pediatrics at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia.
Dr. Karen Perry has authored a technical and procedural book for ophthalmic technical personnel and lectures extensively in the optometric profession. She serves as an examiner for the Florida Board of Optometry and provides leadership on many levels within the profession.
As an active member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Southern Council of Optometrists (SCO) and the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), Dr. Karen Perry has served as chair for numerous committees including Education, Membership Development, Industry Relations, and Convention Planning. She has served as the FOA liaison to the Florida Paraoptometric Society for over ten years. She is currently chairman of the board for the Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians (CFSOP).
Dr. Karen Perry previously served on the Board of Governors for Prevent Blindness Florida and chaired several fund-raisers for non-profit organizations, including The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Prevent Blindness Florida and the Center for Independence and Technology (C.I.T.E). Dr. Karen Perry continues to chair the CFSOP silent auction and charity ball to benefit non-profit organizations related to vision loss prevention. She volunteers vision care services for the Jeppeson Foundation, The Migrant Children Foundation, Orange County Public Schools, The Lions Club and Vision U.S.A. In addition, she provides eye exams at the Coalition for the Homeless.
Dr. Perry has been honored by both the community and her colleagues with numerous professional, academic and civic awards, including those recognizing outstanding leadership, outstanding achievement and academic merit. She received the prestigious Prevent Blindness Florida Visionary Award and the 2002 Local Society Florida Optometrist of the Year Award, presented by The Florida Optometric Association.

Juan Menjivar, O.D. Dr. Juan Menjivar completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Texas at Austin; Austin, Texas and subsequently received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Houston; Houston, Texas. He concluded a clinical optometry externship at Quantico Marine Corp Base, Naval Clinic at Quantico, Virginia.
Dr. Menjivar completed his vision care internship in the Global Clinical Programs at Bausch & Lomb; Rochester, New York, where he contributed to the management of ongoing clinical studies and to the development and initiation of new clinical studies for Bausch & Lomb products.
In addition, Dr. Menjivar was a National Eye Institute Predoctoral Research Fellow at the Visual Optics Institute; University of Houston, Texas, where he developed and completed original research. He was the first author for a research poster presented at American Academy of Optometry 2005 conference on the Impact of Custom Contact Lens Dynamics on Simulated Keratoconus Visual Performance.
Dr. Menjivar is specialty trained in Sports Vision Testing and has provided clinical care for the Boston Red Sox Organization and the Los Angeles Dodgers Organization.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), Florida Optometric Association (FOA), Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians (CFSOP) and the American Academy of Optometry (AAO). He has held leadership positions, including President and Treasurer of SVOSH.
Dr. Menjivar has received academic and scholastic recognition from Varilux, HOYA Vision Care, Walman Optical, and Vistakon. He was selected as the American Optometric Foundation Carl Zeiss Fellow, 2007. He received the Dr. Deborah Adler-Gindberg Vision Science Award, STOA Student Award and was inducted as a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, in addition to completing a National Eye Institute Predoctoral Research Fellowship. He competed academically at the American Optometric Association, Optometry Super bowl as a representative of the University of Houston College of Optometry.
As a frequent participant in community service programs, Dr. Menjivar has traveled on numerous mission trips to serve vision care needs of the underserved, including the Lions Club Mission to Reynosa, Mexico; the SVOSH and Baylor Shoulder to Shoulder Mission Trip to Honduras; and the FCO Mission Trip to Merida, Mexico. He has participated in Vision Screenings and Health Fairs sponsored by the AOA, VFW, and Amerigroup. Dr. Menjivar has generously represented optometry at the Special Olympics Lions Club International, Opening Eyes Project and the Texas Summer Games. |
